Pong™ Research Corporation was founded by an international team of scientists with unique expertise in the fields of plasma physics, environmental science, electrical engineering, antenna design, and health sciences. What is SAR?

SAR stands for Specific Absorption Rate and measures the amount of radiation in units of watts per kilogram (W/kg) absorbed by a cell phone user's body including the head.  In general, the lower the SAR, the better the chances your phone is not a potential health hazard.

EMR within one wavelength of the user is called Near Field Intensity (NFI). When you hold your cell phone to your ear, you are absorbing between 48 to 68% of the NFI radiated by your phone. It is this radiation that underlies increasing concerns among physicians, scientists, and lawmakers who believe this exposure to be a health hazard.
